Scalable Display Recognized as a Global Leader in Innovative Technologies by Red Herring
Scalable Display Technologies announces today that it has been named a 2011 Red Herring Global Top 100 winner. Scalable Display was selected from over 1,000 nominees representing the most innovative technology companies across more than 40 nations. This honor comes in addition to the company’s selection as a Red Herring North America Top 100 winner last June.
The finalists, representing past Red Herring Asia, Europe and North America award winners, are judged on a range of qualitative and quantitative metrics, including but not limited to, technology innovation, financial performance, growth criterion, management’s execution standards, and potential globalization of the strategy and market share improvement. Winners were announced the evening of December 7, 2011 at the Red Herring Global forum in Los Angeles, where finalists were invited to present their winning strategies at a special awards ceremony.
“I am deeply impressed with Red Herring’s skill at early identification of high growth companies from a wide variety of disciplines and geographies. Scalable is one such company and we are honored to be selected from a pool of many worthy companies” said Andrew W. Jamison CEO of Scalable Display.
“There is significant global demand for large and high resolution displays and Scalable Display holds the key to addressing that demand. We believe that the long-term implications of Scalable’s patented technique for scaling resolution is very significant – they have a very bright future ahead” said Alex Vieux Chairman, CEO and Founder of Red Herring
About Scalable Display Technologies
Scalable Display Technologies, Inc. is a leading provider of multi-projector display technology. The company’s patented software, developed a decade ago at MIT, simplifies the creation of super-resolution, edge-blended displays of the highest quality and scalable size. ScalableDesktop software eliminates the display bottleneck and allows display resolution to scale with display size. The software opens the door to widespread use of multi-projector displays for an entirely new class of displays based on off-the-shelf components. The result is new forms of unified displays with scaling resolution for conference rooms, digital signage, data visualization, simulations and other collaborative environments.
