Companies Collaborate on Multiple Immersive Training Installations throughout 2014
Scalable Display Technologies and Immersive Display Solutions, Inc. (IDSI) today announced the completion of a number of major IDSI customer visual systems integrated with Scalable Display Manager software including: Air National Guard 502 Training Development Group, AdventureTech (Brazil), Aegis Technologies – Ft. Sill Visual Upgrade, Driving Force (Nascar and F1 Simulators), Fidelity Technology Corp, Nova Technologies CFFT3 Close Air Support Module, L3/AFRL and Raytheon Technical Services. Products from both companies will be showcased at multiple booths at this week’s I/ITSEC exhibition taking place at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando FL, December 1 – 4, 2014.
IDSI continues to lead the market with fixed and deployable visual systems for immersive training. Scalable Display Manager software is a key component in allowing an easily deployable and maintainable cost-effective solution with flexible hardware components.
IDSI (Booth #1180) is recognized for its innovative approach to engineering and integration that utilizes custom fabrication, COTS hardware and Scalable’s software to produce high-fidelity yet budget-conscious simulation solutions.
“IDSI continues to be a strategic partner with Scalable Display, and as such has assisted in continual growth and improvements needed for the innovative complex geometries that IDSI has developed to satisfy their clients unique requirements.” said Andrew Jamison, CEO of Scalable Display Technologies. “Their success during these times of spending constraint highlights the benefits of their cost effective approach to design, construction and performance in immersive simulation. ISDI has definitively redefined the simulation landscape and enabled widespread deployment of cost-effective solutions.”
“Scalable Display’s camera-based automatic re-calibration capability and flexibility to meet the continual geometric challenges of IDSI’s programs has allowed for significant growth and expansion of IDSI’s display designs for their customers that would not have been possible even a year ago” said George Forbes, President & CEO of Immersive Display. “Our continued success with Scalable validates our belief that high-fidelity simulators can be delivered and maintained at price points that help drive adoption and expand the market.”
Attendees at this week’s Interservice, Industry, Training, Education and Simulation Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, who are interested in viewing a demonstration or discussing specific display configurations, are encouraged to visit the IDSI and Scalable Display booths (#1180 and #986 respectively).
