Scalable Display Technologies and VDC Display Systems partner on systems for the Military Simulation market

Scalable Display Technologies, a leader in auto-calibration for multi-projector displays and VDC Display Systems, a division of Video Display Corporation (NASDAQ:VIDE), industry leader in display solutions for military, medical and industrial training and simulation applications, are pleased to announce their collaboration on projects for the military and commercial simulation markets.

VDC Display Systems will be using Scalable’s EasyBlend FX edge-blending software as the auto-calibration solution in a visual system for a training simulator currently in development for the US military. The system will incorporate ultra high resolution projectors and a high performance screen, using EasyBlend FX to edge blend and correct geometry for the spherical display. Scalable’s advanced technology will support VDC Display Systems’ goal of achieving close to real world environments for the trainees.
