Scalable Display Technologies Launches First Annual Scalable University
Scalable Display Technologies, an industry leader in auto-alignment for multi-projector displays, is pleased to announce the first annual Scalable University training program. This landmark event was held at the International Resort and Spa in Orlando Florida March 18-19, 2009. In attendance were more than twelve partner companies from around the world representing a range of industry backgrounds including: military simulation, Professional AV, projector manufacturers, screen suppliers and digital cinema.
Scalable Display has expanded rapidly in the past year with the addition of more than a dozen new dealers around the world. This expansion was most visible at last years I/ITSEC conference in Orlando where the show floor was highlighted with simulation displays calibrated by Scalable’s EasyBlend software.
To ensure that our dealer network is the most informed and forward thinking set of partners on the planet we choose to launch Scalable University. The stated objective of the University is to share our collective knowledge and expertise so as to ensure the best possible customer satisfaction in the industry. The success of this event has lead to the immediate scheduling of additional training sessions at other locations around the globe.
Included in the training agenda were hands on product training sessions for EasyBlend, Multivista, Scalable3D and advanced geometry. In addition, there were presentations on “ortho stereoscopic 3D projection” by John Merritt an industry expert as well as a talk on “eye limiting resolution”.
