Scalable Display Manager
Warp and blend without limits.
#1 Choice in Simulation
Scalable Display Manager is the premier product for automatic warping and edge-blending in the simulation industry. Designed to handle the most demanding applications and rigorous acceptance testing criteria. SDM can calibrate an unlimited number of projectors on any screen geometry: 360 screens, domes, hemispheres, etc. With an extensive list of advanced options and features there is no challenge that cannot be overcome. SDM has over 40+ SDK integrations with leading Image generators to ensure compatibility in any simulation design.
Accuracy without Compromise
When display operation is mission critical, there is no room for failure. Scalable has been servicing the most demanding military simulation applications for more than 10 years. The patented Scalable algorithms are capable of sub-pixel blend registration and sub-degree geometric uniformity. Fix-mounted cameras ensure that the system is always ready for use and pixel perfection is just one-click away. When there’s no compromise on quality, there’s no choice but Scalable.
Automatic Warp & Blend
Use a camera to quickly and easily edge-blend multiple projectors and warp the content to any screen geometry.
Using automaticallly detected blend regions, uplift brightness for uniformity in night scenes.
Automatic calculation of view frustum and support for multiple eyepoints with over 40 IG integrations.
Any Screen Geometry
Support for 360 degrees cylinder screens, dome projection, hemispheres, and custom screen shapes via 3D file import.
Capable of achieving the most demanding accuracy specifications as measured by a theodolite.
Provides a graphic representation to quickly identify and troubleshoot all system-level changes.
Minimum Requirements for Host Machine
We recommend running Scalable Display Manager (SDM) from a separate calibration laptop or a small form-factor PC. The Host machine will need connections to your cameras, and network connections to your IGs and/or warping boxes. It is possible for SDM to run from a PC in your rack, or locally on the image generator, but it is strongly recommended that you have access to the PC (either physically or through VNC, etc) with the ability to directly view the screen for setup purposes.
- Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium or better (Home Basic not supported), Windows 8.1 64-bit, or Windows 10 64-bit.
- 6GB of RAM or more.
- Intel Core i3 Processor or better.
- OpenGL 3.0 compatible graphics card or better
- Gigabit network adapter
- At least 25 GB of hard drive space available.
- Laptop with backlit keyboard strongly recommended.
*If you are using Logitech cameras and a laptop to calibrate your system, you can use up to 2 Logitech cameras. If your system requires more than 2 Logitech webcams, you will need a desktop computer with independent port USB or switch to an alternate camera such as the GigE.
