This datasheet is a reference design of a portable interactive display. It is the same system SDT featured at I/ITSEC 2011.

ScalableDesktop 2.0 is an innovative software application which automatically blends and warps arrays of 1-4 projectors together into one seamless desktop on Windows 7. Ideal for many markets including education, conference room and data visualization. ScalableDesktop 2.0 is built on top of Scalable’s EasyBlend Technology which automatically calibrates multiple projectors using SDT’s patented camera feedback technology.

Scalable Display Manager (SDM) is a software platform for the management of projector-based multi-megapixel displays. Scalable Display Manager brings automation to the difficult task of manually aligning multi-projector display systems.

Calculate & Distribute — Powered by EasyBlend™ technology, our patented camera-feedback solution, SDM calculates instructions known as Scalable Mesh Files. SDM distributes the Scalable Mesh Files to the Scalable Display Client.

Easyblend SDK™ is a third-party software integration toolkit which enables Image Generation (IG) software providers to benefit from Scalable's automatic soft edge blending technology to provide geometric distortion correction and color matching.

EasyBlend™ technology is our core technology that powers ScalableDesktop and Scalable Display Manager.

Our patented technique for geometric distortion correction is a digital approach which allows users to create displays that simply can’t be engineered by conventional mechanical or optical means.

Recommendation for ScalableDesktop systems
• At least 2 Gigabytes of RAM, 4GB is ideal
• Intel Core i5 Processor or better
• Minimum of 3 direct USB inputs
• Clean install of Windows 7 Professional or better
• A single graphics card - We strongly recommend a card with at least 256 Megabytes of memory. Typically most mid to high grade consumer cards work fine, for specific recommendations see the ScalableDesktop Recommended Graphics Cards page.
