Workshop on Immersive Visualization for Construction Design and Management

Scalable Display Technologies is hosting this small workshop operated by Dr. Jeffrey Jacobson of ConstructionVR.
As an extension of BIM, immersive visualization techniques help streamline design coordination in most modern construction projects. We will survey the current and future uses of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and large-format war-room style information centers. We will build upon two successful workshops produced last fall, which aimed at helping the AEC industry adopt innovative yet proven technology to improve bottom line performance.
