Company experienced 50% percent sales increase in first half of 2010

Scalable Display Technologies, a leading provider of software for multi-projector display systems, today announced that the company experienced record sales in Q2 of 2010. Growth was powered by new customers in both military and commercial markets.

Scalable Display’s patented EasyBlend™ software , which enables the next generation of displays by simplifying the creation of super-resolution, multi-projector displays of the highest quality and scalable size, was installed in a number of military simulators, including an aircrew weapons training simulator for the U.S. Coast Guard; the Marine Common Aircrew Trainer Prototype (MCAT-P) located at New River, NC; and in the first of four VDC visual display training systems being developed for the U.S. Marine Corps’ Supporting Arms Virtual Training (SAVT) program.

“It is a true testament to the value of our product that, in such an economically unstable time, we are experiencing record growth,” said Scalable CEO Andrew Jamison. “Our technology enables displays of unparalleled size, shape and resolution across a wide range of markets ranging from military simulation and entertainment to corporate environments and more. We are very excited to continue expanding our customer base.”

Last quarter Scalable also announced the immediate availability of ScalableDesktop™, an innovative software application that automatically blends and warps arrays of projectors to display seamless Windows® 7 or Vista desktops. Ideal for a wide range of applications, including conference rooms, lecture halls, touch walls, wide-screen gaming, commercial and military simulation environments, ScalableDesktop enables end users to create an ultra-high resolution display of their desktops that is perfectly edge-blended and color corrected.
