Discover the Innovative Features and Enhancements in Scalable Display Technologies’ Software Version 8.0 for Improved Visual Display Solutions
Scalable Display Technologies, an industry-leading application provider who automatically calibrates the color, intensity and geometry of images from multiple projectors, announces a new software update, version 8.0, with new integration and features designed to simplify edge-blending and projection mapping.
Scalable’s latest software update is available with new features for Scalable Desktop, a simple and straight forward blending solution for scaling with Windows; Scalable Panel Assembly (SPA), a proprietary display calibration software for CAVEs and faceted displays; and Scalable Display Manager, the flagship product used in simulation and attractions. The latest update includes the addition of Westar Warper 4K, a new 4K warping box with up to five DisplayPort UHD channels. Additionally, 8.0 includes a new alignment panel specifically designed in support of collimated display systems. The collimation update includes new features designed to simplify perspective correction through the mirror, while also providing smoother interpolation across the screen.

The 8.0 update includes other features and improvements, including Nvidia specific upgrades, algorithmic improvements on complex blend shapes and new calibration camera types. Scalable will showcase 8.0 at InfoComm 2021 in Orlando, Florida from October 27 – 29, 2021.
