Scalable Display Technologies announces a strengthened Asia-Pacific presence led by Zui Tao from the company's Shanghai office — with over 35 permanent installations across the region, 50% year-over-year growth since 2018, and an expanding focus on amusement attractions, themed entertainment, and simulation markets throughout China and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
Scalable Display Technologies has announced a strengthened presence in the Asia-Pacific region, led by Zui Tao, Chief Representative of China for Scalable, from the company's Shanghai office. The expansion reflects three consecutive years of 50% year-over-year business growth in the region since 2018 — driven primarily by demand from amusement attractions, themed entertainment, and professional AV markets across China and the broader Asia-Pacific.
"Scalable's technical advantage is pixel accuracy and quick calibration," said Tao. "We have been working on many exciting collaborations, including attending the China Higher Education Expo with Epson, to showcase our technical advantage. We are also working with three different manufacturers attending InfoComm China to showcase our projection mapping and edge-blending technology within their booths."
Scalable has supported more than 35 permanent installations across the Asia-Pacific region, with the majority concentrated in amusement and theme-park attractions — a market that has driven significant demand for multi-projector calibration as operators pursue increasingly ambitious immersive experiences. The Shanghai office provides local support for both channel partners and end customers throughout the region, ensuring they receive the right technical guidance and responsive service.
The Shanghai office works in close collaboration with Wincomn — Beijing Wincomn Technology Co. Ltd., Scalable's exclusive distributor in China — which has focused on high-end AV applications and intelligent meeting, control room, cultural tourism, and simulation solutions.
"We aim to make these large complex screens more accessible to system integrators by using Scalable software," said Tao. "We are already realizing the growth potential of the market and look forward to the year ahead."
Scalable's Asia-Pacific focus aligns with a broader shift in the region's AV and attractions markets.
